It has been raining a lot here in iceland, you cannot imagine how much i miss the sun.
But then it is just best to be inside, drink a cup of hot cocoa and maybe bake a cake.

in the beginning of December 2013 i moved in to my boyfriend.
we live in a small apartment in a basement, but it is really cosy here.
it has one bedroom, living room, very small bathroom and the shower is in the kitchen, haha i tought it was really strange when i saw this at first. i can tell you, not a lot of apartments that have shower in the kitchen.
But i have the capability to think in solutions and make any room very warm and cosy.
it is all about the little things around us. colors and to make the space we are living in personal.
i can say that i really like old furnitures, i go to the thrift store a lot, here in Reykjavik.
maybe i will show you pictures from the store some day.... i am just getting started.
i love to upcycle old furnitures with a little paint.
it is becoming more and more popular and people are getting very aware of that, and trying to upcycle furniture themselves....
But it is also nice to mix and match old with the new...
In todays post i would really like to show you what i did with pictures that were laying around in big frames that just took too much space, in our tiny apartment ..... no okey not so tiny, just small and cosy.
old pictures, i hang up on a string with clamps
the window in our living room is very high so i just put the pictures on a string under the windowbin.
the string is attatched with two hooks.
very simple idea.
